Topics of the Symposium

nElectric Melting Technology and its application, including all-electric melting technology; mixed-energy melting technology; electric-boosting melting technology; electric-heating forehearth technology etc.;

nRecycle of solid waste and circular economy: waste glass, fly ash, blast slag, basalt, tailings to manufacture the foam glass, glass fiber, glass wool, glass enamel and so on.

nAdvanced glass research and preparation, including photovoltaic glass, low-E glass and other high-performance glass, all kinds of advanced manufacturing techniques;

nBasic material research supporting advanced glass technology, including refractory materials, electrode materials, mold processing and combustion equipment etc.

Introduction of the Symposium

In the Symposium, the development and application on advanced glass melting technology would be discussed. The attendee would come from research institute, university, glass industry, and correlative materials company etc.

The series symposium was held every two years since 2002. There were more than two hundreds professional attendees including nearly twenties overseas companies attended the symposium.
