Notice Soliciting Contributions
In the past years, glass electric melting technology has made so great progress in china that nearly two hundred glass electric melting furnace built in china. With the influence of national policy of energy saving and environment protecting, the further progress would be made.
We successfully organized “National Special Conference on Glass Electric Melting Technology” in 2002, 2004, 2006,2009 ,2011 , 2014 and 2016, and made great effects on glass industry.
With the development of various glasses and increasing requirements of glass quality, it is extremely important to improve glass electric melting technology and enhance international communion.
Subjects of the symposium
This symposium will focus on study and/or application on Glass manufacturing industries,especially inLow-Carbon, Energy-saving and Environment Protection; Recycle of Solid Waste and Circular Economy; New Technology and New Technique.
Topics for the symposium
nElectric Melting Technology and its application, including all-electric melting technology; mixed-energy melting technology; electric-boosting melting technology; electric-heating forehearth technology etc.;
nRecycle of solid waste and circular economy: waste glass, fly ash, blast slag, basalt, tailings to manufacture the foam glass, glass fiber, glass wool, glass enamel and so on.
nAdvanced glass research and preparation, including photovoltaic glass, low-E glass and other high-performance glass, all kinds of advanced manufacturing techniques;
nBasic material research supporting advanced glass technology, including refractory materials, electrode materials, mold processing and combustion equipment etc.
We solicit for scientific/technological contributions relating to the above topics, the contributions selected will be published in the proceedings of the symposium; provided that the authors register in the symposium and present their contributions on time.
Papers can be written in English, Chinese.
Accepted papers should be original work not be published.
Papers evaluation process
nSubmission of proposal:
Please send an abstract in one page maximum with 5 key words of your paper to us before Dec.31,2017by E-mail, indicating the names of the authors, the institution the authors work for , and the country of origin, the topic, the viewpoints and methodology mentioned by the authors.
The complete text should also be sent to the Organization Committee before the Feb 28, 2018, the complete text must range between 5 and 10 pages, including the tables, graphs, appendices and the bibliography. The notes will have to be limited to bare essential and shall appear at the foot of the page.
For page-setting, please use margins of 62.5px, the text in Times New Roman 12, line space 1.5, justified on the left and on the right.
The tables and figures will be inserted in the text. The words in a foreign language must be formatted in italics. We recommend avoiding the use of bold and underlined characters.
The authors are invited, under penalty of rejection of their proposal, to ensure their anonymity scrupulously, in particular by providing a version where the quoted references do not make it possible to identify them.
nReturn of evaluations :
Notification of acceptance of the paper before: Jan.15, 2018.
Acceptance and evaluations are based exclusively on the scientific quality of the papers, their relevance and coherence with the subjects of the Symposium.
